Can someone explain to me how Wonder Woman — on the new Justice League cartoon — can suddenly FLY on her own?

Draaz and I watched Training Day last night. I was a lot more impressed than I thought I would be.
I’ve been wanting to see the movie since I saw the previews for it, but that desire grew a great deal after I saw the performances of Russell Crowe and Sean Penn in A Beautiful Mind and I Am Sam (knowing that Denzel beat them for the “best actor in a leading role” category at the Oscars). After seeing those two outstanding portrayals, I had to wonder, “How in the HELL could Denzel — in a street/drugs/action movie — possibly have won that??” After seeing the film last night, however, I saw how he did it.
He was spectacular in this role!! He had to be crazy, bad-ass, smooth, funny, and smart all rolled up into a believable cop-with-the-wrong-idea package… and he pulled it off… quite nicely! The role was not nearly as shallow and typical as it seemed at first glance and from watching previews.
I must say, however, that had it been up to ME to decide who should win in that category, I really would’ve had a hard time choosing.
Kudos also to Ethan Hawke who did just as wonderful a job, in my opinion. He was also nominated for an Oscar but did not win.
Sidenote: I think if more cops were to behave the way Denzel’s character does in this movie, criminals would regain a bit of that “fear” of the police they used to have…. or at least some of these punk-ass kid criminals would.

Hmmm….
I had a perfect blog entry this morning, and now (surprise surprise) I cannot remember what in the hell I was going to rant about. *sigh*
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I just remembered!
Why can’t HP make a printer that’s worth a shit all around??? (mid-range, not super duper) I mean, dammit! The 5 and 6Ls were great and everything… (except that there was no power button and if your paper got jammed you had to perform surgery to fix it) … but after awhile, they pull like 20 sheets of paper through at a time… (NOT a good thing when cutting checks)
So… after having enough of that, a little while back I talked my boss into getting me a new one. 1200 series. And it’s great! The print speed is wonderful. The paper tray keeps it nice and straight.
But print checks in the GA summertime heat… and they curl like a bitch! with no way to keep them from going all over the place! ARGH!!!!!!!!! It’s so annoying. They should make some kind of little arms or something to come down on the paper after it’s run through the printer.. (like they used to have on some of their deskjet models)
Oh anyway… can’t have it all… after all, it is HP….
And still no damn power switch!!! WTF?????
