Gaia
The glowing rays of our best friend and enemy settle on her ---
and she soaks up the energy.
Without hesitation, she sends it through her disciples...
Up through twisted feet, knotty torsos,
and green-foliaged faces. The beauty emanates through the thick air --- leaving traces of its wanton fruitfulness
for others to taste. She falls into a tranquil state then, and feels the joy from those she has pleased. Slowly, the thickness dissipates, and is replaced by a cool, crisp blanket.
It wraps her --- and allows her temporary rest....
