your tongue is rotten with foul lies
for years i've felt that sting and still i hoped
still i believed

don't tell me you will
your soul is void and my heart is scathed
it's too late for more hollow promises
i don't believe you anymore

don't say it's me
your actions betray your purpose
there is one thing you devote your attention to
that's yourself
